Yeah I know, probably one of the weirdest titles ever...

And i'm sorry for not using search, but I dont like the way this forum's search works o_O.

So anyway, my question is:

When you get a weapon like an axe, and you ID it, and it unlocks something like an "axe grip of enchanting" How do you get it off of the axe?

Like yesterday, I IDed a blue air staff, it unlocked a "staff wrapping of fortitude"

So i was thinking that it works like the rare salvage armors, where you use an expert salvage kit to get the rune off. I gave it a try with the staff. What does it do? It salvages it >_>

So, once again, my question is, how do you get these items off of their weapons?

Sometimes you get "unlucky" and actually salvage the weapon instead of getting the mod. I've always used an expert salvage kit when trying to get a mod off of a weapon.
